The Postgraduate and Research Program in Geography (PPGe) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) makes public the Selection Process for the Master's and Doctorate Courses in Geography starting in the 2023 academic year. 27 places are offered for the Master's degree and 18 places for the Doctorate. Registrations can be made until November 15, 2022, through the Federal System (gov.br) or using the SIGAA interface, through the selection processes – stricto sensu tab. Click here and sign up!
The areas of concentration are “Socio-environmental Dynamics and Territorial Restructuring” and three Lines of Research “Territory, State and Planning“, “Urban and Regional Dynamics” and “Geo-environmental Dynamics, Risks and Spatial Planning“. 27 places are being offered for the Master's degree and 18 places for the Doctorate, distributed according to the rules of the notice.
PPge is also promoting the Specialization course in Environmental Management and Territorial Intelligence. The selection process has 50 vacancies and registrations remain open until October 29th. To compete, the candidate must do the same procedure through the Federal Government website (gov.br).
The course aims to enable professionals to act in an impartial, critical and scientific manner, based on technical data and regulations, using new technological tools for data collection and processing. The program content will be taught with a focus on computational tools, especially geoprocessing and map production in a GIS and BI (Business Intelligence) environment.
