The Dean of Research (Propesq) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) is holding the 1st edition of the UFRN Outstanding Researcher Award, with the aim of rewarding the institution's researchers who have made relevant contributions to the development of science. Interested parties have until September 5th to register for one of the three major areas of knowledge: Life Sciences; Exact, Earth and Engineering Sciences; and Human and Social Sciences, Letters and Arts.
Three researchers will be chosen, one in each area, to be awarded assistance worth R$5,000.00 to cover air tickets, daily allowances and registration fees to present work at a scientific event, in addition to receiving an award certificate and trophy.
The Award ceremony will be held during the closing ceremony of the XXX Congress of Scientific and Technological Initiation at UFRN (eCICT 2019), on October 25th, where the winners must participate as speakers to present the scientific contribution arising from their research.
