UFRN announces new Central Administration managers

Part of the new team that was chosen to compose the governing body of the Central Administration for the four-year period 2019-2023 was presented this Wednesday morning, 22nd, in the Rectory's Collegiate Room. Although some names have not been defined, the elected rector, José Daniel Diniz Melo, decided to hold the first meeting due to the need for alignment in the first steps of the new administration, which will begin next Tuesday, 28th, when Daniel Diniz will be sworn in by the Minister of Education, Abraham Weintraub, in a ceremony that will take place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education (MEC), in Brasília, from 11am to noon.
In any case, the names presented during the meeting are still subject to approval by the Teaching, Research and Extension Council (Consepe) and the Board of Directors (Consad), in extraordinary sessions this Thursday, 23rd, in the morning and afternoon respectively.
