The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in partnership with Funpec and the Public Ministry of Rio Grande do Norte (MPRN), launched a selection process for the Integrated Research and Extension Project "Public Policy Observatory: application of methodologies for monitoring and evaluation in plans, programs and projects".
Registration will be open from July 5th to 14th, 2024 and will be carried out through two notices, which serve graduates in Public Policy Management, Public Administration, Economics, Statistics, Health Services Management, Pedagogy or Social Service, as well as professionals graduated in Statistics, Demography, Public Policy Management or Economics. The scholarship values are R$1,000 for undergraduates and R$2,000 for professionals.
The project aims to monitor and evaluate the implementation of public policies in municipalities and the state of RN, generating indicators, analyzes and guidelines that will strengthen the MPRN's performance and benefit public managers and civil society, promoting more effective social control. The project members will carry out evaluations of public policies, generating instruments that enable the understanding of the problems and challenges inherent to the implementation of these policies, aiming at their improvement, supervision and social control.
The partnership to start the project was signed on July 1st with the participation of the rector of UFRN, José Daniel Diniz Melo, and the chief prosecutor of Justice, Elaine Cardoso de Matos Novais Teixeira, at the headquarters of the RN Attorney General's Office.
