UFRN opens applications for Master’s in Social Anthropology

The Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) has opened registrations for the selection process for the Master's course in 2024. Registrations can be made between July 18th and September 14th, 2023, until 11:59 pm. There will be 15 places available.
Interested candidates must request registration and send their documents in PDF format exclusively through UFRN's electronic selection process system, using SIGAA.
PPGAS offers four lines of research for candidates to choose from, which cover topics such as Space, Images, Technologies; Gender, Sexualities, Body and Health; Memory, Local Knowledge, Religiosity, Rituals; and Politics, Rights and Ethnicity.
A total of 15 places will be available for the Master's Course in Social Anthropology, distributed as follows:
10 vacancies for open demand with broad competition;
1 vacancy for internal training for active permanent employees at UFRN
3 vacancies to serve black and brown people (PP)
1 place for people with disabilities (PWD)
Candidates who prove, through a diploma or declaration of expected completion, that they have completed higher education, may apply for selection.
