The Interdisciplinary Center for Studies in Sexual Diversity, Gender and Human Rights – Tirésias, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), promotes the Cycle of Debates on Violence and LGBTphobia in Brazil. l. The event takes place on May 24th, at 2pm, in Auditorium B of the Center for Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA). Registration can be done during the event.
Tirésias is an interdisciplinary center for studies in gender, sexuality and Human Rights at UFRN that, since 2010, has carried out educational actions for diversity and respect for differences within the University and with the external public.
The group, for this occasion, has the participation of doctors in Anthropology Francisco Cleiton Vieira and Paulo Victor Leite, and doctoral student Pietra Azevedo. History graduate Anselmo Neto and Pedagogue Júlia Flávia also participate. The cycle also features the presence of Janaína Lima, Coordinator of Sexual and Gender Diversity, of the State Government's Secretariat for Women, Youth, Racial Equality and Human Rights (Semjidhrn).
