On May 28th, at 6:45 pm, in Auditorium B of the CCHLA, a round table will be held on the topic: Women and Political Militancy.
The event aims to create a dialogue between cinema and history, focusing on women's stories in the context of the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship (1964-85). Before starting the debate, the animated documentary Torre (2017) by Nádia Mangolini, a film about the memory of children of political prisoners during the dictatorship, will be shown.
