The seminar “Gender violence in contexts and policies: ten years of the Maria da Penha law” aims to bring current reflection on gender violence, contextualized in public policies. The meeting takes place from April 6th to 11th.
The event is supported by the Gender, Body and Sexuality Research Group (GCS) and has, in its programming, the participation of researcher Alejandra Salguero Velázquez, from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and with the screening and debate on the film Who Killed Eloá.
Interested parties can register in advance via the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (Sigaa). The opening of the event is scheduled for the 6th, at 7pm, in the Zila Mamede Central Library Auditorium. The other activities of the event take place in auditorium B of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA).
