Seminar in Urban and Regional Studies takes place on the 25th and 26th at UFRN

 
 
The Postgraduate Program in Urban and Regional Studies (PPEUR) at UFRN will hold, on the 25th and 26th, the Seminar in Urban and Regional Studies – 2022.1. The event plays an important role in disseminating ongoing research and attracts an external audience that considers PPEUR as an option for expanding their training.
 
The event has as external guests important references in the area of ​​Urban, Regional Planning and Demography. This year, the event that was previously called “PPEUR Dissertations and Theses Seminar”, now in its 12th Edition, will add a broader program, with an Opening Conference, with the presence of Professor Luiz César de Queiroz Ribeiro (IPPUR – UFRJ) – National Coordinator of the Observatory of the Metropolises –, closing conferences with Professors Fernando Macedo (UNICAMP) and Rodrigo Firmino (PUC/PR). The program ends with a book launch session.
 
“It is a space for improvement, feedback for master's and doctoral students, but above all for those interested in joining PPEUR to gain knowledge about the themes, methodologies and parameters used in the Program”, highlighted professor Sara Medeiros, from the Department of Public Policies.
