UFRN Art and Culture Seminar receives registrations

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) opens registrations for the 7th UFRN Art and Culture Seminar, held on May 22nd and 23rd, on the central campus. With the theme of Cultural policies under public approaches: trajectories, challenges and perspectives, the event aims to outline an overview of the advances and challenges of public policies for culture, as well as highlight reflections and actions regarding arts and cultures as fields of knowledge production and socioeconomic development.
The program includes panels, book launches, knowledge rounds and work presentations, in addition to the installation of the UFRN Culture Policy Council. The activities take place at the Zila Mamede Central Library (BCZM) and in the new building of the Art and Culture Center (NAC), located on the ground floor of BCZM. The discussions address the central theme of the seminar, the regulation of consolidated groups and research and extension actions at UFRN aimed at cultural inclusion and accessibility. The cirandas cover ethnic and traditional knowledge, art and social rights.

CCHLA's Horto de Letras holds literary debates
