Dean appoints new Comunica superintendent

Professor Sebastião Faustino signed this Friday, the 9th, his definitive inauguration as the new Superintendent of Comunica/UFRN. He had already served as a pro tempore since the beginning of Rector José Daniel's administration, a period in which he worked on restructuring the university's communications. At the same ceremony, the new director of TVU, professor Miriam Moema, and the new director of Agecom, journalist José de Paiva Rebouças, took office.
Faustino is from Jardim de Piranhas, in Seridó, Rio Grande do Norte. PhD in Education, has a master's degree in Social Sciences and a specialization in Cultural Journalism. In the Department of Communication, where he comes from, he teaches classes mainly in “Institutional Communication” and “Information Management and Technology”.
At UFRN since 2009, as a professor at DECOM, he became head of the Department between 2012 and 2015. Between 2015 and 2019, he served as deputy director of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA). Three months before concluding his term, he accepted the invitation of Rector José Daniel Diniz and temporarily assumed the Superintendence of Communication (Comunica) at UFRN, a position for which he was definitively sworn in last Friday.

Sepa offers psychological support inside and outside UFRN

The Applied Psychology Service (Sepa), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), provides, between September 19th and December 2nd, 2022, Psychological Reception for the internal and external communities of UFRN, with an audience that can range from children to the elderly.
