Continuing the UNESCO Cycle of Anti-Racist Actions, the extension project Encontro de Saberes, from the Department of Anthropology at UFRN, promotes the V Conversation of Seeds, whose theme is The protagonism of gypsy women of the Calon ethnic group in the contemporary scenario, next Thursday, 22nd, starting at 3pm, on the YouTube channel Encontro de Saberes UFRN.
In the discussion, the demands, problems and experiences of these women will be articulated and posed based on their leading role in the community in which they live and in society in general. The activity will be mediated by professor Marcilania Figueiredo and the gypsies of the Calon ethnic group, Maria Jane Cavalcante and Gradycella Alcântara.
The event is open to all interested parties, and registrations can be made via Sigaa . Certificates will be issued to participants.
