Aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students who came to the city of Natal with the intention of studying and seeking psychological assistance, the Dean of Student Affairs (Proae) carries out the extension project On the road to study, which is open for registration until August 25th.
The action was created with the aim of promoting reflections on the experience of moving to another city to study, encompassing situations such as homesickness, new housing, new relationships, social support network, autonomy and responsibilities, self-care, as well as crises and perspectives inherent to the process.
According to the psychologist responsible for the project, Isabelly Marques, the intention is to help students experience these realities, maintaining quality of life. Composed of group dynamics and conversation circles, the meetings will be held on Tuesdays, from 9am to 11am, from September 3rd to October 29th. The meetings will take place in the group room of the Proae Psychology Sector, located on the first floor of the Rectory.
The meetings last 18 hours and, at the end, a certificate of participation will be awarded by the Dean of Extension (Proex) to those who present at least 75% attendance. Students from all periods can participate and registrations must be made through the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (Sigaa). Other information can be obtained by calling (84) 3342-2278, extension 8, or by email topsychoproae@reitoria.ufrn.br.
