Multirisco Project offers a scholarship worth R$4,000

The Multirisk project, developed by the Georisco research group and the Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Disasters (Nuped), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), offers an extension scholarship (EXP), worth R$4,000. The opportunity, which starts immediately, lasts for 12 months, extendable for an equal period. Interested parties must fulfill the requirements available in the notice and send an email by March 20, 2023 to lutianealmeida@hotmail.com. The Lattes CV and work plan proposal must be attached.
To participate, the higher education professional must have at least 4 (four) years of effective experience in research, development or innovation activities in the project's research area. Furthermore, it cannot be linked to the job market and be available to the needs of the project, as defined in the work plan.
The incoming fellow will work on the development of multi-risk mapping models in Natal, participating in the development of the state of the art on mapping, also working in the context of climate change and in the development of disaster risk cartography. In addition, it will assist in field data collection activities in high-risk areas of the city, data collection with drones and geodetic GPS, among other activities.
