UFRN project helps people declare IR 2019

The Junior Company of the UFRN Accounting Sciences Course (ACont) is carrying out, until April 26th, the Income Tax – Individual 2019 extension action, which aims to help the population of Greater Natal with tax declaration. The service is open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm, in Room A3 of Classroom Sector V.
To make the declaration, the taxpayer must appear at the project headquarters with the following proof: income from 2018, expenses with health, education, financing records or booklets, data on assets (cars and houses, for example), in addition to the movement of savings and current accounts.
For people with an income of up to R$50,000, the service will have a minimum cost of 4 kg of non-perishable food (except salt). For people with income between R$50 and 70 thousand, it will be necessary to donate three packets of powdered milk and a fee of R$15. For those with income between R$70 and 120 thousand, a donation of two packets of geriatric diapers plus a fee of R$20 will be charged.
Declarants with income above R$120,000 must contribute three packages of geriatric diapers plus a fee of R$25. UFRN employees, active or retired, must donate a personal cleaning kit consisting of a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner and deodorant, in addition to a fee of R$20.
The extension action has been carried out since 2006 and, last year, 1,536 thousand declarations were made, collecting more than three tons of food, 506 packages of geriatric diapers and 103 hygiene kits, which were distributed in philanthropic institutions in Greater Natal.
The project will run until April 26th. Other information can be found on Acont's Facebook or via email at contato.acont@gmail.com.
