IPP teachers and students discussed challenges of public management in Congesp/RN

Professors from the Public Policy Institute – IPP/UFRN and students from the Public Policy Management Course participated in the 16th Public Management Congress of Rio Grande do Norte (Congesp/RN) which addressed the theme “Democracy, Transparency and Innovation: challenges for public management”.
 
The Institute of Public Policies participated directly in the Scientific Committee of Congesp/RN, as well as in coordinating the Round Table on Public Management and Social Participation in Contemporary Brazil and the Thematic Sessions on Public Policy and Sustainable Development and Government Procurement and Control of Public Spending.
 
Students from the Public Policy Management course also participated in the event, by presenting articles at the Congesp/RN Thematic Sessions.
 
 
Congesp/RN took place between the 24th and 27th of October and was aimed at managers and public servants from different spheres and powers, and was also a space aimed at students to publicize their work. The event made it possible to share successful and innovative experiences, with the participation of local and national speakers.
