UFRN professor launches 2nd edition of the book Northeast of Brazil in World War II with two new chapters

The book Northeast of Brazil in World War II, organized by UFRN professor Flávia de Sá Pedreira, reaches its second edition with two new chapters. The work tells how people from the Northeast experienced the conflict and suffered its impacts in Natal and other capitals in the Northeast.
The work's organizer, and author of one of the chapters, is professor at the Department of History Flávia de Sá Pedreira. The production of the collection included the participation of 17 researchers from the Northeast. Among these are the UFRN historians, Anna Gabriella de Souza Cordeiro, Luiz Gustavo Costa and João Gilberto Neves Saraiva.
“We hope that the reader will be able to glimpse, in this collection, a very diverse picture of the aspects of the urban experience of each northeastern capital, in the years in which they experienced the upheavals and changes arising from their forced involvement in the war situation.” comments Professor Flávia on the back cover of the book.
The second edition of the work is available via the teacher's email (flasaped@gmail.com), as well as through Cooperativa Cultural, Banca do Atheneu and Revistaria Cultural do Nordestão.
