On the 10th, 11th and 12th of April, the Ágora Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will host the unprecedented International Multi-risk Seminar, marking an important initiative in Brazil to discuss and propose solutions to emerging challenges in multi-risk contexts.
Registration to participate in the event is open, with prices starting at R$50.00 for undergraduate students. The general coordinator of the seminar, Lutiane Almeida, highlights the importance of the event in popularizing the term in Brazil and promoting dialogue between experts, technicians and managers.
The Seminar will be attended by international speakers from Austria, the Netherlands and Chile, as well as work presentation sessions and a workshop on socio-environmental indicators. Almeida emphasizes that “improving the quality of studies on the topic is essential to support effective public policies”.
