PPgEM carries out I Communication: Research, Teaching and Democracy

From this week until July 31st, the Postgraduate Program in Media Studies (PPgEM) promotes “I Communication: Research, Teaching and Democracy”. The event in partnership with the Department of Social Communication (Decom) and the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA) will hold several online events led by teachers, Decom technical-administrative staff and postgraduate students.
The program will feature lectures, workshops, short courses, with the aim of reinforcing the idea of communication applied to everyday life, presenting research results and the knowledge generated.
The events will start this Thursday and will be broadcast on the Google Meet platform, with limited places and registration via the link (https://linktr.ee/ppgem), check out the week's schedule:
06/25 at 2pm – Lecture: “Social research with young people: the importance of escaping academic rigors and rejuvenating methods”, with Gunther Guedes (Masters student PPgEM)
06/25 at 3pm – Round table: “Science and Communication: scientific dissemination, journalism and the coronavirus pandemic”, with professors Luciane Agnez (IESB), Isaltina Gomes (UFPE) and Kenia Maia (UFRN) and will be mediated by doctoral student Emily Gonzaga (PPgEM).
06/26 at 4pm – Lecture: “The paths of reporting on TV”, with Francisco Júnior (Master PPgEM)
