After ten years of enactment of the Law on Quotas in Higher Education, the Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS) at UFRN invites you to an inaugural class “20 years of affirmative actions in Brazil: possible assessments”, to be given by Prof. Dr. Luiz Augusto Campos (IESP/UERJ), on April 27th, at 6:30 pm, in the Auditorium of the Zila Mamede Central Library (BCZM).
Luiz Augusto Campos is a professor of Sociology and Political Science at the Institute of Social and Political Studies of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ) and a PhD in Sociology from the same institute (2013). He is editor-in-chief of the magazine dados and participates in the coordination of two research groups: the Observatory of Social Sciences (OCS) and the Multidisciplinary Study Group on Affirmative Action (GEMAA).
