The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) promotes the 1st Seminar of the Postgraduate Program and Research in Geography (SEMPPGE), between the 6th and 7th of November 2019. The theme of the first edition of the seminar is The challenges of Postgraduate Studies in Geography in the Northeast, with the main objective of discussing the role of Postgraduate, master's and doctorate, academic and professional, in the process of training teachers and researchers in Geography in the northeast region in the face of current context.
The event will allow for the construction of dialogues between the Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses in Geography at UFRN, in order to enable greater interaction between students and highlight the importance of research in the training process. The program includes the development of round tables, presentation of work and research proposals, workshops and short courses.
