The Coordination of the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences (PPGCS) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) announced the opening of registrations for the Master's and Doctorate selection processes, scheduled to begin in the academic period of 2024.1. The opportunities aim to include both candidates from broad competition and active permanent employees at UFRN, as part of the UFRN Institutional Qualification Program (PQI). The notices are available at cchla.com.br
For the Master's degree:
A total of 13 vacancies will be made available, 12 of which are intended for open demand with broad competition. Additionally, a vacancy will be reserved for UFRN's active permanent employees, as part of the PQI. If this vacancy is not filled by civil servants, it may be made available to candidates from broad competition. In case of lack of filling in one of the research lines, the vacancy may be directed to another research line. The registration request period will be open from October 13th to November 13th, 2023.
For the Doctorate:
The Doctorate will offer a total of 9 vacancies, 8 of which are intended for open demand with broad competition. Similarly to the Master's Degree, an additional place will be reserved for UFRN's active permanent employees, as part of the PQI. There is flexibility to reallocate vacancies between research lines, if necessary. The registration request period will be open from October 13th to November 13th, 2023.
Those interested in participating in these selection processes must pay attention to the provisions, rules and instructions detailed in the corresponding notices, which can be accessed on the cchla website or through Sigaa, in the selection processes tab. It is important to highlight that there will be no registration fee charged to candidates.
