The Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) holds, from June 9th to August 25th, the mini-course Thinking about LGBTQIA+ sociabilities in the northeast: leisure, consumption and the city. The program has 10 meetings, always on Thursdays, from 2pm to 5pm, in auditorium C of the CCHLA. Registration is available through Sigaa.
The mini-course aims to discuss contemporary productions about different forms of LGBTQIA+ sociability developed in the Brazilian Northeast region. Starting from the connections between leisure, consumption and the city, the multiple forms of constitution of these subjects, groups and urban space itself will be explored.
The action is aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in these themes, as well as professionals in the areas of culture and education and activists in the LGBTQIA+ movement. The event has a certificate of participation as a 30-hour extension course. Registration is limited. Check out the entire program on Sigaa or on our website.
