PET Filosofia promotes meetings to discuss philosophical texts

The Tutorial Education Program of the Philosophy course (PET Philosophy) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) promotes the first meeting of the Tower of Babel Project: studies in a foreign language, starting this Wednesday, 3rd, in room C1 of Class II, at 2:30 pm, focusing on the writings of Maria Zambrano. The group will meet for five other meetings to read and discuss the Spanish author's philosophical texts. Registration is done on site.
   Maria Zambrano
Maria Zambrano was a Spanish philosopher and writer, disciple of Ortega y Gasset, Xavier Zubiri and Manuel García Morente during the years 1924-1927. She was also the first woman to be awarded the Miguel de Cervantes Prize (1988). She was exiled in several countries in Europe and South America, having returned to Spain in 1984, after the end of the dictatorship. Among his main books, Philosophy and Poetry (1939) stands out.
