Cinéclub Lumière, an extension project of the Department of Letters, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), resumes activities from this Friday, July 24th, at 4:30 pm, for a discussion about the films Holy Motors and Um Cão Andaluz, which will take place via the Google Meet platform, using the link that will be published on the project's Instagram (@cinelumiereufrn).
The project, since 2017, has shown films in French and promotes debates among participants about the themes covered in the chosen works. Due to the pandemic and the interruption of in-person activities at UFRN, the sessions were suspended and will now be resumed remotely. The debate will feature the participation of the project coordinator, professor François Weigel, as well as Ygor Felipe, master in Media Studies from UFRN, and Joaquim Dantas, doctor in Language Studies also from UFRN. Participation in the discussion counts as an extension activity for UFRN students worth 4 (four) credits.
