Exhibiting a collection that brings together photos, clothes, accessories and letters that show fragments of Natal's involvement in the Second World War, from 1942 to 1946, the Conviv'Art gallery, from the Núcleo de Arte e Cultura – NAC, from UFRN, holds, on the 5th and 6th of June, the exhibition Sob o Cruzeiro do Sul – The Second War in Natal – 1941-1946. The opening takes place at 9am on the 5th, and visits can be held from 9am to 5pm.
The material presented belongs to the Under the Southern Cross Foundation, which is based in Florida, United States. Coordinating with researcher Fred Nicolau, the exhibition also features personal materials from Nicolau himself. In the same space, professor Flávia de Sá Pedreira, from the History department at UFRN, will display books that deal with the theme of the Second World War.
