Disseminate artistic and traditional knowledge, in its various forms of expression, in the environment of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). This is the proposal of the extension action Cultura no Centro, promoted by the Art and Culture Center (NAC), through the UFRN Culture Plan and the Chão de Saberes and SigaArte programs at UFRN. The initiative is also carried out with the support of the UFRN School of Music (EMUFRN) and the Dean of Extension (Proex).
The first artistic-cultural intervention takes place next Thursday, the 15th, with poetry by Felipe Borges, a performance by Palhaço Piruá and armorial music with the Quarteto de Luís Gomes. The cultural actions will be held at 2pm, in the main hall of the School of Health (ESUFRN), and at 4pm, at the Biosciences Center (CB), in the hall next to the canteen.
On Friday, the 16th, the same artists will perform at the Events Space of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA), starting at 8:30 am, and at the Center for Applied Social Sciences (CCSA), starting at 10 am, in the garden area. On August 22nd, the presentation will take place at the Bandstand of the Center for Exact and Earth Sciences (CCET), at 2pm, and at the Education Center (CE), in the hall near the canteen, at 4pm.
On Friday, the 23rd, the Cultura no Centro arrives at the School of Science and Technology (ECT) at 8:30 am, with a performance by Poeta Chico de Iaiá, Palhaço Piruá and Quarteto de Luís Gomes, and, at 10 am, the space for cultural action will be the Technology Center (CT), in Minhocão.
On August 29th, at Escola Agrícola de Jundiaí (EAJ), the action will be attended by Poeta Chico de Iaiá, Quarteto de Luís Gomes and Banda da EAJ. The Cultura no Centro will close on August 30th, with the presence of the Mossoroense cordelist Antônio Francisco, the performance of the group Canguleiros and ending with the group's forró as Potyguaras, starting at 4pm, in the parking lot next to the Communications Superintendency (Comunica).
