The Postgraduate Program in Geography (Geoprof) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) opens 19 places for the Professional Master's Degree for the 2023.1 academic period, with registrations until September 21st. The target audience are graduates in Geography, Pedagogy or courses that deal with the teaching of Geography that fit into one of the two lines of research: Geographical Knowledge in School Spaces and Geography Teaching Methodology. Registration is available on the Integrated Academic Management System (Sigaa).
Of the available vacancies, 10 are for the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA) and nine for the Seridó Higher Education Center (Ceres). At CCHLA, eight vacancies are for broad competition, one for black, brown or indigenous people and another for people with disabilities. At Ceres, seven vacancies are available for broad competition, one for black, brown or indigenous people and another for people with disabilities.
When registering, competitors must choose and inform which campus the vacancy is for and the line of research they wish to follow. The expected date for registration requests to be accepted or rejected is September 23rd and the result will be available via Sigaa on the candidate portal.
The process has a total of six stages, including the evaluation of applications, analysis of the work plan and its submission, which will be in a remote format with the link sent to participants through the candidate portal on October 13th. Soon after, there will be the analysis phase of the Curriculum Vitae, the hetero-identification panel and the final result, which will be available on November 16th. Enrollments for those selected can be made until 6pm on December 15th by email, with the subject line Interest in enrolling at Geoprof.
