Undergraduate, master's and doctoral students regularly enrolled in UFRN courses in the 2020.2 semester can participate in the selection process. Registration will continue until February 25th.
Entitled Living and health conditions of elderly people: A cross-sectional study within the scope of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, the Institute of Aging's research project aims to investigate the current situation of the active and retired elderly population linked to UFRN. The expected duration of the study is five months, between March 15th and August 15th.
The fellows' responsibilities include participating in data collection, preparing reports and producing and submitting scientific articles at events in the area, as well as attending research group meetings. The workload is 20 hours per week, in the morning and afternoon shifts.
In total, there are 12 vacancies, ten distributed among undergraduates and master's students and two for doctoral students. Undergraduate and master's students selected for research will be entitled to a scholarship worth R$1,000, while doctoral students will receive a scholarship of R$2,000.
This selection has two stages. Firstly, candidates must fill out a questionnaire, proving the data provided, in which a score will be assigned to each item. It is important that undergraduate students are aware of the Single Registry of scholarships in the Integrated Academic Activities Management System, membership of which is mandatory. The second phase consists of individual interviews, from March 1st to March 8th, to be scheduled by email.
