Registration open for the III Colonial Meetings

Organized by the Social History Experimentation Laboratory (LEHS), linked to the History Department of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts of UFRN, the III Colonial Encounters will take place from the 14th to the 17th of June, in Auditorium “D” of the CCHLA, starting at 6:45 pm.

The objective of the event is to strengthen the academic production of undergraduate and postgraduate students in History at UFRN, allow dialogue between professors from different universities in the country, deepen the historiographical discussion about colonial Brazil, in addition to enabling undergraduate students to get closer to the academic world, as well as informing all those who are interested in knowing and delving deeper into the Colonial History of Rio Grande do Norte as well as the other captaincies in Brazil.
In its third edition, the Colonial Meetings aim to bring together Colonial History specialists to debate the work presented by students carrying out research at LEHS. The event will consist of a set of debates coordinated by guest professors, in which discussions will be developed in the form of oral communications and round tables.
