The Potiguar Debate Society Extension project (SDP) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will hold the 5th edition of the Annual Debate Tournament from June 6th to 9th. The event will be held on the UFRN campus and aims to promote oratory, rhetoric, as well as stimulating the ability to improvise, quick thinking and body language.
Anyone can participate in the tournament. Registration takes place until June 2nd and must be completed in pairs via this link. The participation fee costs R$35 for debaters and R$15 for adjudicators. Proof of payment must be sent to the email sdufrn@gmail.com.
The championship will feature five qualifying rounds in addition to the final stages and will debate topics such as net neutrality, military technology, environmental awareness, as well as surprise motions.
