The department of Modern Foreign Literatures of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts at UFRN promotes the II Research Congress on Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language with the aim of making public the practical and theoretical experience in teaching Spanish with an emphasis on new methodologies experienced by teachers from their experiences in the classroom.
The event takes place on the 12th and 13th of September, on the third floor of block I -sector 2- UFRN.
Those interested in submitting work to the congress have until August 24th to send abstracts and until the 31st to send acceptance letters.
Rules for submitting work
Interested parties may submit up to two works by sending a summary that contains: the delimitation of the topic within the research area, the objectives, the theoretical basis, the methodology and the expected results (or results obtained, if any). It is important to highlight that as our event deals with research into teaching the Spanish language as a Foreign Language (FL), this theme must be present in all communication proposals.
WORKS THAT DO NOT ADDRESS THE TOPIC PRESENTED IN THE SUBMISSION RULES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
The works must deal with the general theme of the event, the author must indicate which theme, among those related, his work belongs to. You must write a summary in Spanish, containing between 200 and 250 words, formatted in Times New Roman font, 12, single spacing between lines and justified. The first line of the abstract must contain the title, centered, in capital letters, Times New Roman, 12, bold. The second line after the title must contain the author's full name, followed by the institution to which he or she is linked. Then, a line is skipped and the summary text begins. After the summary, a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords must be indicated. The summary, in PDF format. must be ATTACHED at the time of registration, which will be carried out exclusively via email at 2cpeele@gmail.com.
