UFRN Semapa Group promotes seminar next Thursday

The Society, Environment and Development research group (Semapa), from the Department of Public Policies (DPP) of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts at UFRN, will hold another edition of the Semapa Seminars next Thursday, 13th, with the theme Drought and water resources management in the Brazilian Northeast: A challenge for public policies.
The event takes place in auditorium I of the DPP, located at CCHLA, from 3pm. Registration will be carried out on site and will include a certificate of participation.
The meeting features the participation of professor João Abner Guimarães, from the Department of Civil Engineering at UFRN, and the engineer from the Water and Sewage Company of Rio Grande do Norte (Caern) Geni Formiga.

3:30 pm – 3:45 pm: Welcome from the head of the Public Policy Department to the public present;
3:45 pm – 4:30 pm: Conference with Dr. João Abner (UFRN);
4:30 pm – 5:15 pm: Representative of the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Norte;
5:15 pm – 6:00 pm: Conference with Dr. José Gomes Ferreira (PNPD/CAPES);
6:00 pm – 6:50 pm: Debate open to the public;
18:50 – 19:00: Reports on the IV SEMAPA Meetings (04/11 to 08/11).
