The Coordination of the Postgraduate Program in Geography, which offers the Professional Master's Degree (GEOPROF), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), is opening registrations for the selection process of candidates interested in joining the Professional Master's course in the academic period of 2024.1.
The registration period is from August 14th to September 12th, exclusively online through the SIGAA platform.
In total, GEOPROF will make 23 (twenty-three) places available, which will be distributed among the classes linked to CCHLA/Natal and CERES/Caicó, in accordance with what is set out in the Notice.
Individuals who have a degree in Geography and Pedagogy, as well as other graduates who demonstrate affinity with the central theme of the course, can apply for the vacancies offered by GEOPROF. In addition, candidates who are in the completion and diploma phase are also eligible.
When applying for registration, the candidate must choose one of the two available Research Lines:
Line I: Geographic Knowledge in the School Space;
Line II: Geography Teaching Methodology.
The selection process will be divided into 6 Stages:
Approval of Registrations: Evaluation and approval of registrations made, with eliminatory criteria.
Analysis of the Work Plan: Evaluation of the submitted work plan, with eliminatory criteria.
Work Plan Argument: Interview to discuss and defend the work plan, with eliminatory criteria.
Analysis of the Curriculum Vitae: Evaluation of the Curriculum Vitae (Lattes Platform), with classification criteria.
Heteroidentification: Stage aimed at self-declared black and brown candidates, as part of affirmative actions.
Final Result: Announcement of the general selection result.
