Geopec holds mapping workshop in indigenous village

The Research Group on Geoecology of Landscapes, Environmental Education and Social Cartography (Geopec) and the Postgraduate Program in Geography at UFRN held this Tuesday, May 23, a participatory mapping workshop in the Sagi Jacu Indigenous Village, in Baía Formosa.
The action is part of a master's degree research by postgraduate student Larícia Gomes, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Juliana Felipe Farias, linked to the Department of Geography. The workshop aims to map the Village's potential and limitations in a participatory manner, as well as providing an instrument that can assist in the planning of the territory and the spatialization of its traditional activities.
