The Gemini Talks program, linked to the Media Studies and Analysis and Research Group on Culture, Processes and Media Products at UFRN, will hold the lecture “The time to listen: from the senses of listening to the podcast” next Tuesday, August 27th, at 7pm, in the auditorium of the Department of Social Communication (Decom). Registration is available on Sigaa.
The event features the participation of Madalena Oliveira, PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of Minho and director of the magazine Comunicação e Sociedade. It addresses topics related to sound culture and radio studies. The activity is part of the celebrations of the 21st anniversary of the Gemini research group, linked to the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA).
The lecture discusses the growing importance of listening when interacting with the digital world and audio content. The event is aimed at undergraduate students in Social Communication, master's students, doctoral students and professionals in areas related to communication interested in expanding their knowledge of sound language.
