Brazilian Public Administration Meeting opens deadline for submission of papers

The IX Brazilian Meeting of Public Administration opens the deadline for submitting papers. The Event takes place from October 5th to 7th, at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, in a semi-presential format, with the theme State Government Agenda: reflecting propositions for Brazil. In this edition, articles, technical reports and teaching cases will be accepted, between April 27th and July 1st, 2022. There are 24 topic opportunities in Public Administration.
Professor Lindijane Almeida from the Department of Public Policies at UFRN, current Director of Institutional Relations at SBAP, invites the academic community to participate in the Working Group (GT) on Transparency, Accountability and Participation, composed of her, Marco Antônio Carvalho Teixeira (EAESP-FGV), Josiel Valadares (UFV), and Karina Furtado Rodrigues (ECEME and EBAPE/FGV).
The group will address formal and informal participatory institutions of democratic governance and mechanisms of social control and transparency. The GT also proposes to build a debate with articles that discuss the mechanisms and instances of social participation as a control mechanism. In this sense, research on social participation committees, municipal councils, organized civil society bases and others is welcome. Furthermore, we look forward to works that demonstrate experiences of transparency in public management that function as ways of monitoring the public sector and strengthen control mechanisms on the part of society.
