The II UFRN Hispanic Cinema Exhibition will promote a space between teachers and students, where there can be conversation, discussion, reflection on linguistic diversity, cultural differences, values, beliefs and customs, among others.
Held by the DLLEM Spanish Literature course, in partnership with the Literature department- CCHLA, the event will take place every Friday in May, in auditoriums “B” and “D” of CCHLA, always at 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
Providing night students with the possibility of attending extension activities to obtain additional hours (AACC), 04 films were selected, starting with the screening of the film Medianeras (Argentina, 2011) and followed by discussion and debate about the proposed theme.
In subsequent sections, presentations will be made with a didactic proposal, with the theme of “cinema in the classroom”.

Movie Medianeras
Written by Gustavo Taretto, the film shows depression starting to knock on the doors of Martin and Mariana, characters played by Javier Drolas and Pilar López. Martin is alone, goes through a period of depression and cannot accept the way the city of Buenos Aires grew and was built. Web designer, a bit neurotic, rarely goes out and spends most of his time on the computer. It is through the internet that he meets Mariana, his neighbor who is also lonely and disillusioned with modern life in a big city.
