Bringing together several researchers from several Brazilian and foreign universities who intend to address the different discursive and textual genres in the legal field, the first day of the III International Symposium on Studies on Legal Discourse, which takes place at UFRN, promoted on the evening of December 7th, in the CCHLA entrance hall, the launch of the book entitled: “Discursive Studies in Different Perspectives”.
The work continues the work of the Media Discourse Study Group (Gedim), which develops research into the study of discourse from a critical and multidisciplinary perspective on the themes of law, gender, society, sexuality, discrimination, violence and social conflicts.
Consisting of three thematic sections: Discourse, gender and media; Speech, media and society; and, Discourse, media and law, the book marks a moment of consolidation and celebration of the activities carried out by Gedim over five years.
One of the works that make up the edition was developed by the professor and director of CCHLA, Maria das Graças Soares Rodrigues.
Present in chapter 12, entitled: “Judicial sentences: constitutive enunciative instances and enunciative responsibility”, the text seeks to highlight that legal textual discursive genres demand attention from linguists, since there are few works focusing on their textual and discursive enunciative devices.
The copy was organized by Michelline Mattedi Tomazi, Lúcia Helena Peyroton da Rocha and Júlio César Pompeu.
