Department of Arts promotes Classical Culture Days

    The Department of Letters (LET) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) is holding the Journeys of Classical Culture: Greco-Latin Mythology from April 22nd to 26th, from 4pm to 6pm, in Auditorium B of the CCHLA.
On the 22nd to 25th, some representative Greco-Latin Myths will be presented, in their various reiterations throughout classical and post-classical literature, as well as their cultural legacy. On the 26th, the round table will take place Myths Yesterday and Today: Influences on Ancient Society and Developments in the Modern World, with the participation of professors Marcos Tindo and Alzir Oliveira, both from UFRN; and Marco Colonnelli, from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), who will discuss the Greco-Latin Myths Yesterday and Today, the influence they had in antiquity and the consequences they still have in the contemporary world.
The event is held by the research group Philology, Language and Ancient Literature (Filia) and is aimed at both the academic and external communities. Registration can be made through SIGAA, at this link.
