Department of Letters launches Cinéclub Lumière project

  The extension project Cinéclub Lumière, from the Department of Modern Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures (DLLEM), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), shows the film Le Brio (in Portuguese: The Pride) this Tuesday, April 30th, at 2pm, in Auditorium 2 of the Ágora Institute.
After the film screening, there will be a debate, and the activity will have a 4-hour certificate. Entry is free and open.
Synopsis of the film
Neila Salah grew up in the suburbs and dreams of becoming a lawyer. Enrolled in a large Parisian university, from the first day she confronts Pierre Mazard, a professor known for his provocations and mistakes. To apologize for his disrespectful conduct, Pierre agrees to prepare Neila for the prestigious eloquence contest. Cynical and demanding, Pierre can become the mentor Neila needs, but it is necessary for both of them to overcome their prejudices.
