The Department of History (DEHIS), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), will hold on June 17th, at 6:45 pm, the inaugural class to open the 2021.1 semester. Professor Giovana Xavier (UFRJ) presents ‘How do you want to tell your story?’ to freshmen. Registration takes place via SIGAA, with transmission via the Serpentibus Plena YouTube channel.
Guest Giovana Xavier is a professor at the Faculty of Education at UFRJ, coordinator of the Black Intellectuals Group and author of the books “You can replace Black Women as an object of study with Black Women telling their own story” and “Maria de Lourdes Vale Nascimento: a black intellectual post-abolition”. The class takes place with the mediation of professors Susana Guerra (UFRN) and Juliana Sousa (UFRN).
