The Document and Image Conservation and Restoration Laboratories (LABRE and LABIM), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), are open for registration for the selection of interns, to work on the project Procedures for Organization, Conservation/Restoration, Digitization and Accessibility of the Natal Daily Collection.
The process seeks to select students from History, Library Science, Social Communication, Chemistry, Information Technology and Production Engineering courses to develop preservation and accessibility actions, focusing on the areas of conservation, restoration and digitalization, in the two aforementioned laboratories (LABRE and LABIM).
Registration is open until next Monday, the 18th, and must be made at the History Department Secretariat, located in the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA), from 8am to 11am and from 1pm to 5pm. The candidate must bring the following documents: ID, CPF, Proof of University Link, Lattes CV, Academic Transcript and Declaration of time availability.
The selection of interns will be based on the analysis of the Academic Index (MC) and will also take into account the candidate's experience in their area of training and participation in extension and research projects in the area of preservation. The result will be announced on February 21st.
