Department of Geography holds course on feminism

    The Department of Geography at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) promotes the course From Feminine to Feminism, between April 10th and 12th, in Auditorium B of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA). The action begins at 4pm, on the 10th, with a talk by Yara Costa, president of the State Union of Students (UEE). The course aims to discuss the Historical Process of the Evolution of Women's Struggle, in conquering spaces through the presentation of the history of women, who were icons with their behavior and activities in the area.
Registration can be done on site. According to the organization, the reflection will take place from elementary authors on themes such as patriarchy, its pillars and the domination of bodies, until the daily life of being a woman in Brazilian society is understood. The feminist aspect that is intended to be presented is that of an intersectional Marxist bias. For more information click on the link.
