Department of Philosophy holds conference on Art and Thought

The Department of Philosophy (Defil) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) is offering an extension course entitled “Conference at the Pinacoteca: Art and Thought.” The event, completely free, takes place next Wednesday, September 13th, at 4pm, at the Pinacoteca Potiguar facilities.
Registration to participate in the course is open and can be made through the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (SIGAA).
In this edition of the meeting, professor Dax Moraes, from the Department of Philosophy (Defil), is invited to give the conference. The theme chosen for the presentation is “Metaphysics of Beauty in Schopenhauer,” promising a deep and enlightening analysis of Arthur Schopenhauer’s aesthetic philosophy.
