The Department of Social Communication (Decom) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will hold the official launch of Lide on December 12th, in Auditorium 1 of Decom, at 7pm. Lide is an extension project that works with the production of in-depth, investigative, literary, multimedia and transmedia reports.
The initiative counts on the collaboration of students from the Journalism, Audiovisual and Advertising courses under the coordination of professor Antonino Condorelli, in partnership with professors Adriano Medeiros Costa and Maria do Socorro Furtado Veloso.
The event will feature the participation of journalist Glácia Marillac (formerly of InterTV Cabugi and several other outlets), Aura Mazda (Tribuna do Norte) and Norton Rafael (InterTV Cabugi, author of a book on literary journalism and one of the founders of Lide) who will discuss the importance of in-depth journalism and literary journalism today.
The director of Tribuna do Norte, Cledivânia Pereira, will also be present, who will reward the best report with a publication in the newspaper. A mini-doc presenting Lide will also be shown. Entry is free.
The objective of the project is to fill a gap in relation to the genres with which it works and complement others, contributing to the training of students in Communication courses. Access the project page to check out the reports produced, https://lidejornal.wordpress.com/.
