Department of Arts brings theatrical productions to the community

The Department of Arts (Deart), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), is holding, between November 26th and December 9th, the 2018.2 Staging Exhibition, an extension action that aims to bring performing arts works to the community.
The action is the result of work created for the Staging I and II subjects, taught by professors Makarios Maia Barbosa and Adriano Moraes de Oliveira, from the Theater Degree course. The project also presents itself as an opportunity for Theater students, future teachers, to take on the role of directing a theatrical work.
The 2018.2 Staging Exhibition takes place in the next few weeks, covering topics such as maturity, feminism, work relationships, urban and existential issues, etc. The styles of the works are also quite varied. The exhibition includes a wide variety of artistic manifestations, from the popular, such as storytelling, dramatic texts and also shadow theater.
