Department of Anthropology holds event on popular cultures

The Anthropology department of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts at UFRN promotes the project “Popular cultures: objects, rituals and heritage” from August 8th to 10th. The event takes place at CCHLA, starting at 7pm.
Programming:

August 8:

– Presentation by the group Coco de Zambê (Sibaúma)
– Conversation circle: Popular culture and research
 

August 9:

– Presentation: Caçuá de Mamulengos (Currais Novos)
– Lecture: Popular arts, dialogues and contemporary tensions – Daniel Reis (IPHAN – RJ)
 

August 10:

– Table: Religious festivals, heritage and tourism.
