Decom runs a course on Communication and Work in partnership with USP

The Communication Department of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will hold, in August, the Communication and Work course: local mediations reveal conflicts. The event is part of the activities of the National Academic Cooperation Program (Procad), in partnership with the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS).
The course takes place on the 5th and 6th, starting at 8am, in Auditorium I of the Communication Department, and will be taught by professor Roseli Aparecida Figaro Paulino. Procad studies the relationship between Communication and Work in the dynamics of journalistic activity in digital media and social networks, in Brazil and Latin America.
The research results indicate that, in the communication sector, the changes implemented reveal the interests of financial capital, to the detriment of professionals and the majority of the population. They result in precarious work, impoverishment and loss of professional identity.
