The black cinema collective from Rio Grande do Norte, Mulungu Audiovisual, in partnership with Movimenta – Cineclubes and Organização Popular, promotes in Natal (RN) the screening of five films censored and criticized by the current federal government. In the program, the films will be shown: Afronte (DF), directed by Bruno Victor Santos and Marcus Azevedo, Nosso Sacred (RJ), by Fernando Souza, Gabriel Barbosa and Jorge Santana, Those Two (CE), by Emerson Maranhão, Mente Aberto (RJ), by Getúlio Ribeiro, and Rebento (MA), by Vinicius Eliziário.
The event takes place on September 23rd, in Auditorium I of the Communication Department (Decom/UFRN), from 1pm to 5pm. The session will be replicated on Wednesday, September 25th, from 2pm to 6:30pm, at Teatro Chico Daniel, formerly the Teatro de Cultura Popular (TCP/Fundação José Augusto). Access to the event is free and open to the general public.
